Woah-quite the movie

Wow--I didn't know the movie would be almost as graphic as the book. Can't say it was an "enjoyable" watch but the film was certainly gripping and attention getting.
I thoughtBLINDNESS (the book and the movie) shows just how desperate humankind (society) can become when stressed, traumatized, scared etc. Also, when a person has hit the absolute bottom, one can only "up", which in effect, causes one to appreciate the basic necessities of life--love, food, shelter, water, and I will add a hot shower! Maybe we are all blind until we realize this?

  1. Thanks for organizing this. The movie is quite powerful! I thought it demonstrated how uncivilized men and women can be (and still are). We revert to our animalistic tendencies in order to survive. Humankind needs to continually evaluate and reflect upon our choices, perspectives, and direction in order to continue as a civilized society.
